That Flickr suggestion is a good one. Smart idea and that will go into feature request bin.
As for giving credit since they are meta tag related, there's not much we can do there. We don't control meta-tags on your site. Things like linktag and open graph tags are on our radar and you may see those in a future version. No promises though. Same thing applies with the standout content.
