Snipping from specific URL's

Kimon Skarlatos Dec 07, 2011 06:09AM EST

Maybe I missed this when searching the support center. I am trying out CurationSoft and like what I see. Sometimes though I know a specific blog post or article that I want to curate into my blog.

How can I get it bring me just that snippet so that I can insert it into the post?

For example: I have the url (http://blogs.mcafee.com/consumer/securing-new-devices), if I insert this url into the CurationSoft Search box it brings back related content from McAfee and other areas but not necessarily this particular post.

Thank you.
Kimon.

it'snot designed that way at this stage. It pulls content from the specified content sources and not from the entire web. Sometimes you can find the same content, sometimes you don't. CS is designed to curate content from those 7 sources. If you want to curate from your own content, you might want to do it manually or use the RSS feed option. Hope this helps. Peter.

Can someone please explain to me how the rss feed content can be brought into the content window?

I have several google news feeds setup in CS but I dont see anyway to get them to show up in the content window

I suspect it is a simple solution - but for the life of me I haven't been able to figure it out

BTW, I did try double clicking on the actual feed in the popup window where you add feeds - no go :)

Thanks
Tex

Hey Tex,

That's the answer. You double-click on the feed listing in the row. That should make it work for you. Are you still having this issue?
